A 5 page research paper that discusses the canonical Wisdom Books of the Old Testament, which are Proverbs, Job and Ecclesiastes. Each book is strikingly different, and thought provoking, offering ideas that address not only the nature of the Almighty, but also the purpose, or seeming lack of purpose, for humanity. These different visions address the topics of natural violence, social injustice and human suffering in different ways that cause the reader to ponder why the tone of scripture should be so radically different in these books than from the Torah and the other books included in the Old Testament.
