The paper is based on a case study of a barbers shop. The variable and fixed costs are given, these are used to calculation the contribution margin for each hair cut. This is then used to assess the firms break even point and the operating profit that will be achieved at a set level of provision. The same calculations are then undertaken with the use of a different cost structure. All calculations are presented. Three sources are cited in the bibliography of this four page paper.
