In 1874, Francis Galton noted that the first-born sons and only sons were over-represented among British scientists. His observation became one of the fist constructs studied in psychology. Alfred Adler followed in 1918 and provided the first comprehensive discussion of the effects of birth order on achievement and personality. This paper is a proper empirical research.
