Woodrow Wilson said, "If you want to make enemies, try to change something." Anyone who has been responsible for making changes in their organization knows that Wilson was completely right. Managers may not make enemies when they change something but they will be challenged with much resistance that shows itself in different ways. This essay is based on an article by Lawrence Polsky entitled "The 5 Unhappy People You Must Convince to Change" The essay discusses how these types of resistance affect human resources. Then, the essay discusses what the writer, as manager, would do with each type of resistance. There are two sources used in this three page paper.
